    I think they will be back with different names soon or there will be a new
    way to share - may be p2p with large network or something else.

      I agree with sucan I think with the right software p2p is the way, or there will be servers that will recieve and hold the file for a very short time,just as a go between then delete the file so no trace.

        Can't say I had much use for upload sites and have always perferred other means.

        I do find it rather alarming that the USA seems to think it rules the world and can just steal a domain from its owner when it pleases.

        The Internet is fast evolving away from its original purpose of freedom to speak and share information etc. It is rapidly becoming another captialist tool to further pull money from the pockets of poor Joe Public.

        I hate spam.

            What's really annoying about the MegaUpload case is that they didn't even have to prove anything, they took them down on the mere accusation of piracy. It's a disgrace when sites can be taken down just for an accusation.
