I think like euroslob says the version of ****** earth that you can see is not what our goverment use, there satellite transmissions and ****** earth will not pixelate out at 400 metres, your local council also has a very good version, and more upto date than the one you get on your comp so seeing what you are pointing at is better that sat finder .com.

the tv license should be enough source of revenue. they can't really force people what the government wants them to view.

Having a satellite dish of any size wouldn't prove anything. There are hundreds of FTA channels broadcast all over the world.

It's not illegal (and presumably never will be) to watch FTA channles from any satellite.

That is why in the UK there is censorship laws, they tell you what you can watch before 9pm, and they still censor it after the watershed, you don't have a choice they tell you what you can watch,so in theory you are breaking the law if you watch anything that has not been passed by the british censorship board

Using their detction vans, they can easily see which channel you are watching.
They have at their service instruments that we have no way of geting our hands on.
Remember that in electronics, we are only using what the military has surpassed or rejected because they have better ones.
The commercially available stuff is years behind what they have.

the censorship fandm are talking about, r u just referring to channels originating or broadcast from the uk? surely they can't sensor everything outside their jurisdiction. who knows what the foreign channels are talking about.

In my area the local council use smart cars fitted with periscope cameras so they can photograph you in stealth mode when you park on a yellow or two wheels on a pavement.

The only way you find out that the arseholes have done you is when you get the parking fine delivered through your letter box via the post! Our council makes millions from this source of income.

Like I said if the government thought it was a viable source of income they would do it and they do have the technology!

Naw let's start an agency that nicks people using their mobile phones while driving.........now that will definitely bring in loads of money, much more than illegal satellite tv viewing for sure.
