I am looking for a tutorial or info on how to edit key files e.g.Constant.cw & Biss.key. It would be useful to be able to create your own files using the keys that are based on the progs that you wish view yourself. Other than using an editor I am not too familiar with the format of the files so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Key files edit
Thanks for the reply but I am also looking for how each file is constructed to be able to understand the file.An example is 2600:000000:0001:0063:1FFF::03 27 02 2C 10 62 51 C3 03 27 02 2C 10 62 51 C3 which I copied from a Constant.cw file but I cannot follow this code because I do not know each of the elements. As there are a number of different types of code files in use do they not all follow similar patterns ?Comment

Re: Key files edit
You might want to check the post a few below titled "How to edit key on Openbox S10/Skybox S10?" As pjmuk has very nicely attached a constant.cw file. You might be able to look at that and work out the format of how it is. How the keys are worked out, I haven't a clue!Comment

Re: Key files edit
Had a look at the posting mentioned but editing the file is not a problem. Most text editors will open the file with the cw extension so no need to rename.
When you look at each line in the file the format is 5 blocks followed by 16 hex address's. I was trying to find out how the five blocks relate to the programs which they interpret.
Sorry to be a pain!Comment
