useing free cline

hi if i just want to use the free cline from here i have say a fixed dish i just get free cline open the cccamg fg file insert cline conect dream box to router then should it work or do i have after do any more settings on drema box it has black hole with dreamelite image at the moment i have no cline atall its a new system i dont want to share clines as it is just for my dad who is useing

have you check connection DM<--->router<--->interner
I mean, did you put settings correct to dreambox? IP,gateway....

can you download addons, plugins ... in your DM ?

Also check cccam.cfg
did you put correct Cline? without #

Did you choice cccam to be the default cam?

i have conection through dcc so do i still after put the gate way setting in the dream box even if i justt want to use as client

and yes i did put ccam with out #

if it make any difrence he useing 2.21. ccam

The DM only needs to be able to connect to the internet (via the router). If your network settings are ok, then then cccam will work with just a c-line in the cfg file.

Don't forget to enable CCcam as default, I think using blue button on remote.

so realy and truly i should be able to but lan cable from dreambox to router and connect or do i have have to put in dreambox setting ip and gateway ip or doesntn that matter on dreamox when just being client
and cccam 2.2.21 is select as when i whatch a free channel and press ok and brings up snr and that it say ccam 2.2.1 at the botm of screen

If your DM can connect to internet and downloads your setings are ok.
Are you sure that Cline is alive?

something that can help you is to connect to cccam web info
In order to do that... put in your cccam.cfg

ALLOW WEBINFO: yes
SHOW EXTENEDED CLIENT INFO : yes
WEBINFO USERNAME : ***xx
WEBINFO PASSWORD : ***xx
MINI OSD : yes
DEBUG : yes
DISABLE EMM : yes
EXTRA EMM LEVEL : yes

open 16001 port to your router
and go to browser and give
-http://dreamboxIP : 16001
give username and pass that you have put in cccam.cfg (***xx) and cccam web info opens....

there you can find useful infos about if you are connected to server and many mores.





the corect settings in DM must be:

go setup---network
IP--- give the ip of dreambox
Netmask --- usualy 255.255.255.0
Nameserver--- give your IP of router
Gateway --- give your IP of router

you are connected to cccam so you now just put the free cline into your dreambox with dcc it are located in var/etc or /etc
depending what enigma you have

i had 2 lines newcamd both conected with one card on each, caid093b sky itlia i think but could not open anything with spiderbox, is this the problem, (protokol:newcamd5.25)
is the box the problem ie not copatable. thanks

that is right if you using mgcamd or newcamd
if you use cccam then it goes to cccam.cfg

If using a spider the cline is definately placed in a server config file, placed on your usb,
no need to go to ther trouble of entering through the remote
