I don't have a 3D TV at the moment. Was considering purchasing one for when we have Christmas at our house. But the price for the 3D technology over a 2D TV was putting me off. Then the other day I was reading about slow sales targets in relation to 3D sales in 2011 and an apparent slow down in 3D TV sales... This I suppose could be taken a multiple of ways.. Is it the 3D itself that is putting people off purchasing a 3D TV or is it the price (as was the case for myself), or is it the media response to headache claims made by some people. Or as posted above, do people perceive 3D TV as a gimmick and await the next technology. Who knows? All I know myself, is I plan on waiting until the new year, or possibility the spring until I make a purchase for a new TV (3d or not).
Dislikes the Chinese Openbox Receivers, so much..

Quite a few 3d tv's for sale at the moment 42" for £499 with good visuals in 3d and very good in normal 2d hd.
It is a matter of if you think it is worth the investment in one, as the ratio of 2d and 3d broadcasts make it still a novelty.
