the DES key is only used with nlines as far as I know, and not with clines.

Hi Melo01: by the sound of your question it looks like you are entering an N line instead of C line as the DES key option will never appear with C line. But don't worry, Its all the same procedure. You enter, host name, port, username and password and at the end it asks for DES Key which always remains as stated in my previous answer unless you want to change it.

Hi Melo01 if its a cline your trying to put in Des Key should be greyed over in other words no access to do anything with it. If your trying to enter a nline the Des Key will be accessable 99% of the time you leave the Des Key as it is.

Hi, I have a spiderbox 5000 it wont connect to a server properly when it does it wont give me any sky channels and it wont read the cfg files. Any help please?

Are you using cccam or n - lines . If you are using the old gift or ethernet that is dead.

Btw we never mention sly spelt correctly ok.

I simply type the clines in after testing them with a cline tester which can be done online.
We need a few more details

Try and put the server details in manually by the remote it very easy if you are using server 3 you will find its very overloaded and it will not open sly for very long with out freezes

Please do not use a cline tester to check lines from Satlover, all you will do is compound the problem as you put the lines out there for all to see and make the problem worse.
