I am not saying it is dead in the water what i am saying is for the price now there are cheaper and more stable boxes around and that work better with cccam than the spiderbox does.

It was only really worth its value when neuvo stream/ service+ was at its best.
I disagree that it is unstable with CCCam....if you get the right provider it works fine. As for the future of Service+ time will tell, but if you already have the box it is still a great box as Service+ still provdes a reliable (nearly glitch free) service which can be compliemented by lines from here or other sources. To clarify I've had cline for a while now (from another source) that works nearly flawlessly :-)

Completly agree with you m8. Nothing is free forever and Service+ has been great for a time and still doing some of the job. More stable would be paying for Digital Signature

you may be one of the lucky ones then as far as the story's i have read on different forums people have to ask for a spider friendly server as with a normal enigma1 or 2 box servers run fine, thats probably due to the fact that you can upload what ever version of cccam you want on a linux box you cannot do this on the spider.

And as i have highlighted in bold you already admit you need the right provider that runs a spider friendly version of cccam.

When I say the right provider it doesn't have to be Spider friendly, just one that isn't millions of miles away with long ping times for instance. The one I find most reliable is based pretty close to me and I have no probs with it. To my knowledge the Spiderbox will work with any version of cccam being used on the server.

            Re: Spiderbox

I am in the same situation as the original post, and have a glitch free problem with Service + at the moment. I like the spiderbox's setup/menu's etc and would like to keep it going.

How does the Premium server service offered by Satlover work with the Spiderbox? Does anyone have a spiderbox on this server?

Thank you in advance for any answers.

              Re: Spiderbox

Just want to say hi to fellow Spiderbox users.

Got my box just in time for S+ to crash out.

Taking my first tentative steps in cardsharing and have been subscribed to the premium server for about 3 hours now!!!!!
Initial impressions are favourable. The free servers glitched about every 20 seconds but Premium appears very watchable. The real test will come when everyone piles in to watch the football.

Anyway hope we can get a thriving Spiderbox community going here.

Yep if you are watching a channel that can also be opened by S+ then its best to turn S+ off or turn cline off and watch with S+ otherwise they will constantly compete!

Useful info to know that you are happy with the premium service with a Spiderbox in the UK though.

There appears to be two threads on this forum with the common theme -the spiderbox. Can I add by view that it is a great box and it handles ethernet ( the successor to service+) as well as cccam.I agree about the problem of competion between ways of opening channels - but it is easy enough to switch one or the other off.

Do you mean switching between service+ and a cline? if so yes easy peasy!

Used a few test lines and a month on a premium server and some were good and lots were rubbish. Trying to get a month on satlovers clines now, so hopefully I will be able to comment later.

As for Servive+, it was getting really good, upto the point of feb this year, then the team seem to have lost intrest. Probably get slagged for that, but they said 'give us a month or so' and 6 months later, very little has changed.

                        Hey Roofer !

Welcome to the site. Unlike the other forum you mention whereby people are banned, thread edited and closed etc, you will find everyone here helpful and friendly.

Therefore if you have something to say about the Spiderbox that not everyone will agree with, your post won't be removed or worst case banned.

Good to see other Spiderbox owners joining the forum to post their experiences of the box.
Unlike Alshat you can speak here freely about Spiderbox!

Yes Euroslob I did mean switching from ethernet to cccam and back again - and of course softcam. All so very easy and speedy.

In my limited experience ethernet is catching up with what nuevo could do and is doing more than service+. It doesn't seem to me that the team behind spiderbox is resting on its previous achievements.

                              Hey Aubsheff !

From memory, chances are you will receive a line similar to this...

                              C: test-server.satellite.com 12000 Aubsheff1 Abc123abC

So to enter this in the Spiderbox, it would be:-

                              Server: test-server.satellite.com
                              Port: 12000
                              User ID: Aubsheff1
                              Password: Abc123abC

If you get capital letters in the details, remember to press 'FAV' button to bring those up. It has to match perfectly, or it won't work. Then turn Service+ / Ethernet off. Reboot the box and then go back to the network menu and see if the lines connect. From there you will see that the server has connected and the amount of cards that are being shared per line

I had two lines and tried entering this as a .cfg file via the USB stick and only put in the first line. Probably a a user error, so inputted the 2nd line manually.

Good luck and let us know when you receive your line and how you get on.

                              Cheers, Tony
