Quick question, what is the minimum required upload speed to run a c line without affecting it by freezing and stuttering? I have a speed of 0.33kb upload and 6mb download but find that no matter what server from any site I use, even in the most off peak hours, I can not recieve a channel which lasts for more than 2-3 minutes without stopping or freezing. Is this just the server (becuase it is free) or my upload and download speed? For example, it will decrypt the channel for about 1 minute on average, then go black and say scrambled channel...What causes the stopping on the decryption and what are the average speeds everyone has?

Re: Upload Speeds
Yes skytec, you are correct, it was meant to be 0.33mb... So it seems that its the server then that gives poor channel quality. Zoran89, my ping is 25ms which I think is quite good, so it seems its the server. Do you know if the server 1,2 and 4 run smoothly without skipping or freezing, because I dont seem to have found a single server on the internet that runs smoothly for more than 2 minutes...It seems I am going to buy the premium server soon...Comment

Re: Upload Speeds
Thats my problem, my TM box has all the CCCAM built in so all I do is press IP or 8280 and go from there. Iv come to the conclusion from testing that it is just the different servers, it seems that the satlover server 3 does something somehow more than other servers do to trigger off the crash, never mind it is only for testing purposes.Comment

Re: Upload Speeds
This is what im not sure about... Can you explain to me what the difference between the CAM and CCCAM is and why it would change freezing? Im new to this cardsharing business and Im trying to pick up and learn the technicalities. I did notice that a newcam specifies a certain port to certain package but im still not sure what the difference really is...Comment

Re: Upload Speeds
Ok, I will try it, are the newcamd's more stable servers and have less freezing or react the same like a CCCAM depending on server traffic? And thank you for the link to the patch, I will update it now!Comment

Re: Upload Speeds
they are the same in with stability but if you got a problem with cccam on the box it might be better to use newcamd untill you find a faster server (50 posts on here im led to belive gets you a better server) im sorry i dont have a local card for you to test but you could always ask in ccam exchange serversComment

Re: Upload Speeds
the free servers are usually overloaded. too many people are connecting to them, even if you have low ping to the server, there will be freezing on the channels.
maybe the servers here that require bigger post count are better, since fewer people will connect to them.Comment

Re: Upload Speeds
Ivorbegun, iv just tested various newcamd's and although the channels run more smoothly than CCCAM's the box still crashes sometimes when changing between channels so to me it seems like its an error in my box. The crashing happens less though depending on which server, which is the only variable that I think makes me think it might be a busy server, other than that, I give up on trying to find a solution.
Kursum, I have tried many different servers, even when the port numbers are updated in various times, even in the middle of the night where there can surely be not alot of people online to overload it. But yes, your right in the crashing is reduced on more stable servers.Comment
