Have a read on this page.

On it there is a quote
Non-RGB 10-pin SCART male connector (coax AV cable). Only pins 2/6/7/8/11/15/16/17/18/20 are available. Some cheap cables or devices (DVD players, TVs) have a 21-pin SCART male/female connector or socket that actually have 10 wires connected and though are not RGB capable ("fake RGB"), but only CVBS.
Maybe the scart cable you have is one of these "fake" ones that isn't really capable of carrying a RGB signal.

Have you tried a different cable?

          Re: AV problem

RGB is type of color you use to create picture (red grean blue), and CVBS is type of cable but has nothing to do with scart cable.

so I dont see conection betwin anything of that, can you better describe your problem.

            Re: AV problem

was i say i ise scart cable to connect tv with dm.
When i select rgb on dreambox picture settings i see other picture in background and its for aeral antena but if i select cvbs the picture is clear.
So the problem is not cable is or dreambox output or tv inputs(i dont belive becouse its new lcdtv only 1 year)

Try to press AV button on your TV remote to select ext input before switch on the box.

                      Re: AV problem

buy a better high quality SCART cable. some very thick cable (good isolation) with gold contacts if possible. something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Premium-1-5m.../dp/B000EG60Z4
those cheap SCART cables suck, they are just not worth it if you want good picture and sound. also they get too much interference.

Now I remember I have same problem (I saw subtitles from terestrial tv on sattelite tv, but they was litle transparent...) I think I solved it by changeing scart input on TV from scart1 to scart2.

TV is Philips 32pfl... it is not very old maybe 2 years but then it was new.

Is ok you've solved, but in this way you've composite signal from box not rgb, what kind of tv do you've? I think your problem is located in tv not into box or cable.
