Closed source is run by a team,the source code isn't released.

I see a problem with eaglebox is no CI slot for my card.
How can I view with my card when there is no ci slot?

That is what i am struggling with. Think you get third party software or emulators that enable the card. But not to sure.
You can also get spidetbox or protek which have gifts.

Gifts are channels that are opened up for you. Spiderbox is for 1 year, not sure about protek though.
But they are gifts and can disappear at any time.

any gift given for free could disapear, for many reasons, be prepared to pay extra £40 on protek gift, to me that is not really a gift, i have had my box over a year now but hardly used it for free gift i.e. free channels.

Protek cost a lot more than spiderbox. Is it much better?

I started off looking at openbox as well but have decided on blade or spiderbox instead.
Can't wait to get my box. Hopefully in a couple of weeks.

I really think the S10 the only issue I ran into is the rebooting during scanning but with a power injector its really stable and fast. I hear the S12 is not as stable.

The better is S9 !!!the S10 is a clone of S10 its an invention of chinese for sell,I've read many forums and all the people say de same!The S10 have not alternative firmware!Bye from Spain

openbox was made as a cheap alternative to Dreambox, but noone patented it so now OPENBOX name means nothing. Simple - 100 dollar OPENBOX works like a 100 dollar receiver.
