tried it once on an android phone. quality isn't that good compared to skype.

Naturally, the quality of call in Viber depends on the internet connection of both sides. Did you test a Viber call when both sides are connected to a high-speed WiFi network?

good point. we were both using 3g while on viber and broadband while on skype. not fair i just realised. will give it another try as my previous comment wasnt really conclusive. a lot of mu friends use it and recommended it to me so it must be good.

Well, it's not that easy also
There are a lot of technical complexities involved.

Viber for PC is under development as we speak, and it's actually getting closer and closer. Once we have any concrete news on that, we'll post it on our Facebook page.

Allow me to reiterate the five commitments we made when we launched the company:
1. The Viber software will always be free.
2. Viber for iPhone, Android, or any other device will never display any ads.
3. Viber to Viber calls will always be free.
4. Viber to Viber text messages will always be free.
5. We will never sell, rent or in any other way abuse your personal information.
