    Hello,

is there is a possibility to see the signal meter at dvbviewer bigger to set up the dish, or is there a plugin?

    Thanks

Nothing can be worst than use dvbiewer for finding a satellite
    - If you have a DVBcard with the Name (Technotrend, Technisat etc) - use fastsatfinder (in my case - TeVII 660S it works very unstable)
    - You can use DVBDream with included plugin, showing signal strength full screen
    - You can use signal strength/quality meter in AltDVB - good enough, et last - MyTheater's.

OK, then I have to search of another way. I have a dreambox, I will ask at the dreambox forum for a possibility.
      Thanks.

            Hello,

Dvbs cards for pc are generally less sensitive than a box. You will struggle a lot for a bad result.

I learned to setup my dish with a TV and my box. The fine tune can be done with ios app or android app using your phone or tablet.

After it's done, you just have to plug your Pc device and it should be ok.

Try to find installed ProgDVB with channel selected (when you start ProgDVB it remembers last selected channel). Best way is to navigate motor or dish with channel selected. Even if you are close to position of that transponder you will hear scratching sound that you are near to the position. All signal indicators are 2-3 seconds latethen actual signal level.

Best way is to be positionet to some free channel and move the dish or motor.

I assume that you have your computer right next to your dish? Otherwise it seems to be hard to setup a dish

Turn speackers volume to maximum, if you are not alone is OK.
