      .......

I swear all these cards will work perfectly with dvbviewer and dvblink, all of them have straight BDA drivers. Expensive cards are recommended in these cases:
      - you are going to hunt feeds with unusual modulations
      - you are going to use blind scan feature
      - you love yourself very much.
If you just want to view satellite TV on your win PC with dvbviewer or dvblogic dvblink then even 33$ card will be fine

PS Absolutely no one like to push "thanks" button nowadays...
OK.... one more question... what I cannot do with this cheap S2 card? Why others cost 2x, 3x or more if quality is the same? So what's I lose if I buy this card?

Re: Latest SkyStar S2 BDA Drivers?

          hi SatWaveDude,

i'm using dvblink with skystar S2 without any problem for 2 years now (and also before with skystar 2 ! )

technisat bda driver cause pixel sometime when streaming to dlna with dvblink but if you are on XP you can use b2c2_sdk driver instead it work like a charm with dvblink 4.1.1.

if you plan to use b2c2 drivers you need to put file b2c2_sdk.dev into dvblink folder ->your sat name -> devices

otherwise cheap SkyStar USB HD work well with BDA driver 4.6.0 and dvblink.

Re: Latest SkyStar S2 BDA Drivers?

b2c2 driver for the card is included in the driver package 4.6 from technisat.

uninstall bda and simply launch start.exe from package.

your skystar2 pci should appear as network card and server4pc from technisat is installed (you will see in taskbar).

put the b2c2_sdk.dev included into the zip of this post into the folder
              dvblink->yoursatsource->devices
and finally choose b2c2_sdk.dev when you config your sat device in the web interface configuration tool.

              everything should work.

You forgot to mention all these steps are for windows xp 32 bit.
                Not for win7 or 8.

b2c2 drivers is what I called wdm.
b2c2 is a chip technisat used to place on their early cards like skystar2.
Even though they doesn't use this chip now, the name b2c2 drivers is still usable.

Sorry but I had mentioned this is intended to use on XP.

Last time i tried BDA on win7 with skystar s2 , only streaming to dlna client is pixelised and choppy , if I remember correctly MCE clients work.

Re: Latest SkyStar S2 BDA Drivers?

My SkyStar S2 PCI card works with 4.5.1 WDM b2c2 drivers included in the installation CD. If you want it I can upload it to try.
My previous Sky Star HD 2 PCI worked with BDA drivers, but this new one works with b2c2.
I bought my new S2 card last two weeks.
                        Best regards.

I think so. But I don't know why you want use pci and pci express skystars at the same time?
If you want to plug 2 satdishes, you can do it with a diseqC device.
