hey, do you definately have a /etc/shadow?

try this password.

$1$K.VaAyEb$Oy86o0YspthTr2IXvUm751

put it into your /etc/passwd file.
the password is pkteam, see if that works for you. if it does then i can generate a password for you and PM it to you, or you can use any linux box to generate a password and copy to your receiver.

Omg! It was the openpli image that did it. Tried 3 different.. Flashed newnigma2 today, passwd worked first try. Now i have openwebif and root with Password. Thanks anyway for the help! Finally i can do something else with the time :P
