hey, do you definately have a /etc/shadow?
try this password.
$1$K.VaAyEb$Oy86o0YspthTr2IXvUm751
put it into your /etc/passwd file.
the password is pkteam, see if that works for you. if it does then i can generate a password for you and PM it to you, or you can use any linux box to generate a password and copy to your receiver.
