Re: Help please
I'm sure that the problem is a wrong IP in dreambox settings.
You can tick the "dhcp" in your dreambox , communication setup ant then restart the box.
Also, you can see what is the IP of a PC connected to your new router
eg: 197.125.1.1
and you have to change only the last number and then to type it in dreambox communication setup without tick the dhcp
eg
197.125.1.5
then restart the box.If You Like My Post..... Please Press the Thanks ButtonComment

Re: Help please
Maybe you have to change the gateway or nameserver in communication setup.
Check the numbers on IP's with your pc.
The gateway and the nameserver is the IP of your new router.
Also, there is a test in network settings that you can run to find if the box communicate with the net.If You Like My Post..... Please Press the Thanks ButtonComment

Re: Help please
I always prefer to have the dhcp disabled but in your case you can do the following:
Enable the dhcp in communication setup and restart your box.
Go again to the communication setup and see what IP have got the dreambox.
Write the numbers (IP) on a paper and then type them again on dreambox but with dhcp disabled.
Restart the box.
In this way you can avoid any IP conflict on your router.
Don't forget that the "gateway" and the "nameserver" is the IP of your router.
You can easily find it by using your PC or from your router's manual. If You Like My Post..... Please Press the Thanks ButtonComment

Re: Help please
Try SL server 3 and 4. If you need some other server lines we can send you on PM, but need to check it first.
Also since you've said that there's a switch message when connecting through DCC, I'd advise you to change switch DCC connection to router one, since you are connecting your LAN exactly like that, over router Virgin.
Normally all those suggestions from friends above will in a way help...
