How mgcamd is installed manually in dreambox 800 hd se. I am getting server error in softcam menu and in add on menus.. So pls guide me to install it manually. Thanks

Yes dear but there is server down problem from last 2days.. No add on and softcam menu is working..

Then you have 2 options:

The 1st option is to look on the net (******) for e2 mgcamd for the image that you are using.
You would most likely ket it in either zip, rar or ipk format.
Using DCC, you can send the IPK file to tmp in your box and install it using the remote control.

The 2nd option is using Glass univcam from Glass utilities (it contains both CCcam and Mgcamd.

Simply edit the mg_cfg and newcam.keys files with the server detail.
You may need to set boxtype to 06 in mg_cfg.

I tried to upload the emu but the forum does not accept ipk format.

Download the latest version of mgcamd on your pc and then use the DCC to ftp the ipk file to your box , in tmp folder.
Then go to your receiver and use the manual install from the menu.
When you finish the installation, restart your box.
