I've finally brought a dream box but was wondering what image to flash to, my sim is 2.10 and Bootloader SSL84B. also i was wondering should i begin going through normal setup then flash or flash straight away

I use nemesis 2.6 very stable and graphics drivers ok

test a few image so fur and none of them give me a subtitles problem. isnt subs fixed on the channel?

another problem is that on some channels i get error sid not found
i think i need to rescan as the channel list used is quite old however is there anything that i can install to get auto channel update

now its a clonebox newer compare it with a real dreambox
but look in your plugin menu after latest channels
they usually are there
its also a good idea to have the latest satellite.xml _http://satellites-xml.eu/
go under chose and only take those satellites you can receive with your dish
also if you install openpli they have a good subtitle plugin already installed

Your channel list is old and that's why you get error sid.

As vimmers said you can upload the latest satellite.xml
or you can use a ready made satellite settings (eg Vhannibal settings)
with the satellites you have.

Also, you can edit these settings with dreamboxEdit,
and to create your own settings with your favourite bouquets and channels.

ive replaced the satellite file on the channel list that i was using and uploaded them. i turned the dreambox off and later will check again to see if is working now. another problem is that when i change extension and then back again i got no picture but i get sound (was working fine yesterday) could it be the cable i am using or the dreambox however i could be my tv as its a couple of years old can anyone help me.

just checked now and still the same error message

the channel i need most is star plus hd and it says decode: unsupported also does it matter what cccam version i am using

i got it all fixed
i re scanned all channels
on dream box edit i compared all the channels and all the dead channels came up in blue.
all i have to do was drag and drop channels from service list to bouquet then send the file over to the dream box

Best to use AutoBouquet Plugin to automatically update the bouquet, saves you time and keeps the channels upto date daily.
