    Telnet login incorrect! DM 800PVR

    When i try to put ip of dreambox in browser it connects normally.

    but when i open DCC and connect it, gives error "Telnet login incorrect!"

    Both ip of system and Dm is correct in dcc. i never ever change username and password for DM.
    default username : root
    password : dreambox

    i do a factory reset but still iam unable to ftp DM, same error msg Telnet login incorrect! Also same problem in flash wizard program.

    Iam new to this model i used DM500 for 5 years and knows everything about it. plz help me out. and sorry for bad english.

    Try to telnet from a command shell, just to check if dcc is passing login correctly.

      or try to leave password blank
      and also try another version of dcc
      or another ftp client

        In some cases problem with DCC other than with DM

          Last resort is to do a factory reset using remote control.
          Then you'll have the default password for the loaded image.
