hello every body,i buy mtuner for my dm800se it works well .but i have to turn off and on the dm about 5 times to work.only when i shut it dawn ,when i put it standby it work normall.thanx

Your current firmware may not be compatible with the tuner. Try to uograde/downgrade to another version, that might solve the problem.

i don't have a dm800se
but are you sure it fit well in the pci slot

Maybe it is a connection problem, if I understand you correctly that it works properly when you get it to work and leave it on standby but stops working again when you switch off.
(Heat can make metal expand creating a better contact.)
Try taking it out and reinserting making sure connectors are making good contact, no fluff or dirt.

The problem i dont understand here is why change a perfectly good tuner which comes with the 800se part of the BCM 4505 chipset and then change it for a revision M Tuner which where produced solely for the DM800 and its lacklustre L revision tuner which had problems with HD channels.

This is not a problem for the DM800se and its standard Tuner, this just mystifies me completely

Are you shure that you DM recongize you turner. Is this turener for the DM800HD And why change turener when the old one works

some clone DM800se also have the tuner problem, fail to scan the high symbol rate.

What happens if you return the original BCM 4505 tuner to your DM800se?
Do you have the same problem?
