Success. Well sort of.

I can now view the FTA channels on both 19 and 28 east.

I have tried to add a free cline from this site. I have followed the instructions but it doesn't seem to clear anything. Is that correct for these satellites?

Any ideas?

Go to Addons.( Yellow button ) Yellow button again. Addon Downloads, Nabilosat Plugins, Download 'Nabilosat CCCam Info' for Darkstar. Install it. Under servers of that plugin you can view the working cards of your cline, Providers etc... . Especially handy is blue button which shows working cards on your sat.

First install working Cline with DCC.
Go to servers and you will see servers used by cline.It shows cards available for each server.
Red dots are dead.
Move to one of the servers with green dot.
Green button lists all the cards.
Blue button list cards applicable to your Sat.

right going to start a fresh today. no success so far. it's probably me and my limited knowledge.

wish me luck

just using the DCC programme to enter cline from the free servers.

Right ok, I have successfully flashed the box with Nabilosat Darkstart II.

I have successfully install CCCam

I have launched DCC removed all the weird writting in the CCCam folder and added a free server cline.

Still nothing.

OK now go to plugin cccam info. and see if your clines are live. If they have green dots in front they are live. Select cards and see which cards they have.

Go to w**. satbeams.com. Under 'charts' filter for AU beam. See which channels are available. In the Southern Hemi some beams only have one or two available channels. Under 'footprint' you can see which beam is applicable to your region.

By the way : Are u using C band or Ku Band because 28E has got no AU beam as far as I can see.
NSS 6 at 95 E has got AU beam

Yellow button . Yellow button again. Download manager. Download cccam info plugin for Darkstar from Nabilosat Plugins. Install.
Run cccam info.

It will open the picture. You will see if cline is active. Very easy.

Image Plugins.
Make sure you download cccam info for Darkstar

The better the cline you get, the lesser the freezing become.

Your box is clone for sure. Original DM500S receivers are not produced in many years.
But yor box has a genuine mac-address and you can use all images for original box without a problem. I have got 5 clone boxes with Gemini 4.70 image.
