OK, from what I understand the internal USB Slot has only power, but cannot be used for devices such flash memory or usb wifi etc. can you just confirm this then this will save me time from opening up my dm800.

Yes my friend this is the case.
You can however use it to supply 5 volts to a mini fan (the small type used in laptops.
This will keep your box cooler and more stable.

The internal USB port only supplies 5 volts which you can use to power any device that works on that voltage.
I understand that it is always on.

At the moment there is no driver for it to allow the software from the box to recognize it.
(The driver may be with dream multimedia)
But it is not public.
You have 2 USB slots that you can make use of for multiboot.

It does work, not sure why you want to run enigma from it. I,ve used it to power an extra internal fan to keep the box cool !

DM800 has 60mb of flash memory, I currently had 6mb free space.

I can run enigma2 from a 1gb mini usb stick and have more space for my plugins.

Does anyone know if the internal USB slot inside the DM800 works, there is an internal USB Slot on the motherboard of the dm800.

if it does work then I would buy a mini usb flash drive stick and run enigma2 from there.

my dm800 is sim2 clone.
