Keyboard for DM800

Has anyone tried a keyboard with DM800 and will a normal PC USB keyboard work?

as far as there are USB connectors, that should work without any problem...

hmm must be a driver problem
try to run on a command line :
modprobe usbhid

its not a keyboard brand thing, more if they add support in image for usb keyboard, the only keyboard i know who work now is the IR keyboard, that have support from all image

I thought it was USB keyboard, if its inrared keyboard then thats even better for me. is it a keyboard designed for dreambox or generic?

cheapest keyboard i found is £50, its too much, all I will be doing is searching programs on epg and ******* search, not worth it. I wish they can make cheap clones of the keyboard too.

I haven't got a USB keyboard, im not gonna risk spending money if there is chance it might not work.

I tried your command and i could type letters but not delete or move cursor so it could help together with remote, i tried a search string in you ****

no, I have keyboard with the old type connection.
