How can I stop a recording set by Timer - DM800

How can I stop a recording set by Timer?
I have a program set to record once a week in case I miss it. But if I am able to watch the program I want to cancel the recording. If I click on the red button when the recording starts there is no option to stop or cancel. The stop button doesn't do anything.
If I click on Menu and Timer There are only options to delete or disable the scheduled recording - Which I dont want to do.

Anybody know about this. Any help appreciated.

Just delete the program from the timer, simple as that.
I don't see any other option except to delete it from the timer. I prefer it this way so this way it will prevent other people from accidently from stopping the recording.

i think that for the week where you want to watch it rather than record postpone the recording by a week then .. you won't lose the timer settings that way!
