Which DVB-T dongle for Mpeg 4 on DM800

In my region the Free to Air service is broadcast in the Mpeg 4 format. I'm looking for a compatable HD TV dongle for the DM800.

Has anybody got any advise on this?

I believe most dongles differ from region to region. Some are Mpeg 2 and some are Mpeg 4.

Apparently you should seek for dib0700 and af9015 based tuner.

Usually HDTV channels are transmitted through DVB-T2, so look for the newer better models that support this standard.

You can put a "normal" USB dongle, don't worry about the mpeg4 thingie, as far as the mpeg4 signal will be descrambled by the dm800.

by the way, you must check in your image if you got the driver for it.
for example image Dream Elite BH supports approx 20 USB tuners (Hauppage,Avermedia,Asus...), it seems there is an Usb Tuner Panel for drivers donwload

as always be careful when installing a new image (clone or non clone...)

Its a genuine DM800 SE and I'm running Nemisis 2.3 SVN91. I think it supports a wide range of DVB-T dongles.

so everything should be ok and an USB DVBT costs around 5 EUR... not expensive...

Ok, My HDTV is MPEG-4 compatible but doesn't the dongle have to be MPEG-4 compatible also.
This gets very confusing. Not to mention the whole DVB-T, DVB-T2 and DTT thing.
