dm800 hd and home network

my pc windows 7 does not see my dreambox (800 hd clone sim2.01 ssl82 image enigma v3.2.1 Rami Maher.) in my home network!
but DM800 is seen as an image with image LS !!!!.
how do you explain that?

Disconect dream from power source and push the power buton and keep push conect dream and you will see one _IP -on display of dream after that you know your ip or go to seting network ,adapter and write another ip.

I have no terminology problems with the IP , I go to the DM with DCC or the Web!
the DM does not appear in network home .. in Explorer for exemple

Go in to your network settings in the Dreambox Menu. There you will find your Dreambox IP, put that IP in IE and there you go !

but controlpanel/network and sharing center on his pc
i think that's where he cant see it

actually I do not like my other machines DM800, unless I put an example Imade LS
DM800 with my current image (Newnigma²)does not appear in my work group.

If you open the smb you'll see in explorer the DM searching by ip... It will never shows up in your local network if you don't give the same network name in the smb.conf file... it's not a windouze machine ... And there are other security levels user access and many..
Try to look for a smb (samba) manual - in linux machine it's easy just write man smb or man smb.conf and you'll have your answer - and you'll find it in your native language... and if you not have a linux ****** for it ...
The truth is I have never tried the help manuals on a DM - you are free to try it.
