    Hi minoltista,

You should try "VMware Player". Maybe that will work for you.

I hope I could help you.

    regards,

      Hi minoltista

Maybe the reson that Portable VirtualBox can't work for you is your CPU.
Some old processors do not support virtual machines.

Did you check if your pc can run a virtual machine?

VMware Player that alread sugested you by @bakfitty is one of the best Virtual Machine.

If I remember right... no :( , it's not portable.
you have to install it on your pc and it's about 100mb.

I thought I came across a .exe you can run as a VM from a key but doesn't install on the PC, then if you have the VM'd box on the sake key, you can run it.

Pretty much a think client on a key sort of thing.

Key as in Usb key. Sorry. Would apply to any storage device, but the idea of running a vm on a small Usb drive you could put on your key chain sounds like a good idea in terms of portability.

Actually no. You would need admin alright. On older OS it may be possible.

What OS are you trying to run this from?
Like a work pc or someting?
Any reason you cant run a password cracker on it?

                          _http://www.vbox.me/

Also if you mean you want to run another op system like Linux on any machine from a flash drive just download a virtual iso file for the op system you want.
put the flash in your pc before you switch on and make the pc boot from the usb drive, it will put you a opsystem of your choice on your pc.
And when you turn it of there is nothing there even for the Fbi or Cia to find it just disappears.
Please note you need a virtual op system

But in this case i need to restart each time the PC to switch the OP.
My wish was to run both at the same time.

I think you may be as they say p---ing in to the wind,
It is poss to run two at once but the 2nd one is only like a veneer one system has to have control of all the system hardware and drivers, even with a virtual server then you are trying to run 3 systems and nothing will run properly.
Easiest way to run two systems as one is to have two pc's sharing one moniter and just switch over in the control panel.
This will let you move files from one to the other and you have full control of 2 systems.
The virtual way is like running a 3 leg race each system tripping the other one up.
