      Re: Windows 8

WIndows 8 is a great OS, but not for standard usage with mouse and keyboard. Windows 8 is a OS that is developed and is best on touch usage. So we will see windows 8 comes more and more in use by touch enviorment at businesses and home.

They are tweaking win 8 at the moment and a update will be released soon, it will address
concerns raised by users i.e it will get back some of the features left out like start button
and make it feel like a proper windows release.

            Hi

            I use win7 and I don't have any problem.
            I have tested Win8 but I don't like it.
It's desined more for touch screen and not for mouse use.
I am waiting about update (win 8.1) thinking that it will be more friendly for pc users.

              Hi, mates!

Windows 8 is the natural evolution of the Windows OS and it focus on touch devices because they will rule the upcoming future in technology.

The new start screen maybe confusing in the beggining but as you get used to Windows 8 you will see its advantages. And its not weird to control Windows 8 with the mouse like most people think... But despite all the upgrades like the store and the included antivirus it still has a lot of margin for improvement. I'm sure Windows 8.1 will show new and exciting stuff which will draw the attention of the people who are still skeptical about this new OS.

windows 8 is fast it makes 7 seem like a cart horse
But until you get rid of the crap metro font end and replace it with classic front end.
It is available in XP, Vista, Win7, and even older versions. The classic front end gives you back your start button and all the other things that you are used to,
who ever wrote the metro front end must have been on lsd it is atrocious.change to classic and enjoy 8. Just google classic front end for win8.
                Enjoy

M$ lost Pocket PC market. Now there are "Aplle", "Android" and "Others"
Now they made useless OS and they'll loose PC market
The only reason they are still selling their crap - there's no more commercial OS on the PC market.
Many people who need modern OS turn to Ubuntu Linux. It's ugly enough too (like 7 and 8) but it's absolutely free.

I wonder how long will it be before Windows 10 arrive and what huge differences would they have achieved by then. I.d say another 3 years maybe 5 at max ...any ideas :-)

If win 8 is aiming for touch screen systems, then it won't get anywhere anytime soon. Touch screen PCs have been around for a while and are just not really practical for personal use. Imagine how uncomfortable it will be to keep lifting your arms up to the screen constantly. My personal exp of win 8 is that it is a little difficult layout for people who like details and can process information on a screen quickly, but lets see how it develops...
