the best way to use it is through OpenELEC, xbmc is prepared exclusively for each hardware model and comes to occupy only 95 megs.
It works like a charm with cccam and oscam plugins among others, plus you can view images streaming deco
Is there a enigma2 plugin for OpenELEC?
Like all things it is a matter of supply and demand, even though the internet
caters for nearly all tastes, tell us what you want to stream.

If what you want is actually being streamed by someone then it is easy enough
to get but if you want something that not many people are interested in and
therefore the chances of it being streamed are very low it will be hard to get if
impossible, football from U.K., Germany, Italy and Spain are easy to get as well
as a lot of live sports from around the world.
lets say i like to see the qualify for the champion league and the Europa league. like last night i was able to find a stream from Astra FC Romania home page. (not by xbmc) for Omonia-Astra. that was not available on xbmc.

Re: XBMC and IPTV on pc?

I've just installed sportdevil and xbmc on my new tablet. Sportdevil is pretty good, some of the feeds are often down but there are more than enough to cover your needs.
Took a bit of setting up to get some streams working but it is worth it in the long run.

Мake own list. Get URLHelper, Coojah6 find the stream.
Open new folder/new text document, make a list, save as somename.strm or .m3u
Open xmbc/videos/Files/Add videos/find .strm or .m3u file.

bokkie has more or less answered your question when any live football is on just
use the sportsdevil addon just go to several stream sites available on it though
you might find some are dead streams you will eventually find what you are
looking for.

Sportsdevil is very good but there is something else too.
It is called Navi-x. There you can type into the searchbar the stream you search.
There are many movies, streams and so on. Try it out
If I helped you please press thanks button!
