Re: XBMC and IPTV on pc?
Not sure what you guys mean, but you can use program like VLC to open IPTV stream link. I will advice you to use program named Simple TV which is better then vlc becouse it is ment to be for IPTV functions. It can play many stream format, and you can find good playlist for it. Or do you guys mean something else?Comment

Re: XBMC and IPTV on pc?
The apps on XBMC are very helpful for IPTV, and internet streams are easily played on your pc with VLC or any other stream player, however the question is where to get these streams from, surely there are forums on the net dedicated to these streams :P good luck!Comment

I have not tested it yet but I'm gona use RasPlex for the Raspberry pi and mabe I loose the IPTV feature, but I'm not shure about that.
Otherwise VLC player does plays streams just fine on PC I use it to watch (stream) from my Dreambox and works just perfect.
Altough if I watch on my laptop there is a lot of interlace showing but VLC can handle de-interlace if you enable it and makes the movie perfect watchable.SatWaveDude

Re: XBMC and IPTV on pc?
The best program for XBMC I have seen so far is Navi-X. There is a similar addon called Mash up. They both work really well. Unfortunately 4oD is not working anymore. I have it all set up on my android box and works like a charm with full HD.If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Thank youComment

Re: XBMC and IPTV on pc?
So you Want to use The XMBC like in The Apple TV Box ?
But why dont you search on google for Streams ?
Its The same Thing or ?
XBMC is very good for watching streams from the internet, you could probably
just google and find the streams yourself but XBMC has number of very good
user interfaces and a huge library of add ons/plugins which do the hard work for
you once installed whether you want watch sports, movies or anything else also
because it is a media centre it can organise whatever you have on your pc as
well videos, music, photos etc..
PLEX is based on XBMC less customisable but needs to be considered also, I use
this now because on my smart tv there is plugin for it therefore I can use the
remote of my tv to stream from my pc while I can continue to work on my pc
it works in the background.Liked my post then push the sigpic button.Comment

Re: XBMC and IPTV on pc?

Re: XBMC and IPTV on pc?
If you are just googling football streams on google you are wasting your time you need the xmbc software, then you need the adons like sports devil navi x etc if you follow the previous posts you will end up with what you are looking for,
If you do not find out, repost with what you are using eg pc tablet phone mac etc it makes it easier if people know how far you have got then they can advise for the rest.
Also you can only stream if someone is providing the serviceComment

Re: XBMC and IPTV on pc?
Yes fandm, thats my point, there are no streaming for what i search. i thing np one is providing the service i like.
Like all things it is a matter of supply and demand, even though the internet
caters for nearly all tastes, tell us what you want to stream.
If what you want is actually being streamed by someone then it is easy enough
to get but if you want something that not many people are interested in and
therefore the chances of it being streamed are very low it will be hard to get if
impossible, football from U.K., Germany, Italy and Spain are easy to get as well
as a lot of live sports from around the world.Liked my post then push the sigpic button.Comment

Re: XBMC and IPTV on pc?
the best way to use it is through OpenELEC, xbmc is prepared exclusively for each hardware model and comes to occupy only 95 megs.
It works like a charm with cccam and oscam plugins among others, plus you can view images streaming decoComment
