    need a working config example for 0963 Sky card?

    Can someone post a working oscam.server config examle for 0963 Sky card?

    Code:
    [reader]
    label                         = reader-1
    description                   = sky_uk
    protocol                      = smartreader
    device                        = 001:003
    services                      = sky_uk
    smargopatch                   = 1
    caid                          = 0963
    detect                        = cd
    mhz                           = [COLOR="Red"]???[/COLOR]
    ident                         = [COLOR="Red"]??????[/COLOR]
    group                         = 1
    emmcache                      = [COLOR="Red"]?,?,?[/COLOR]
    auprovid                      = [COLOR="red"]??????[/COLOR]
    ratelimitecm                  = 4
    ratelimitseconds              = 10
    Above you see what I have at the moment but not shure about the RED collored sections.

    Code:
    I have discovered that the [B]card MHz[/B] and [B]oscam MHz[/B] must be set for properbly detecting:

    mhz = [COLOR="Red"]343[/COLOR]
    cardmhz = [COLOR="red"]357[/COLOR]

    Otherwise my card wil not be detect by oscam.

    If your card is running with another speed please tell.

        Remember that in order to update you must enable dvbapi and also enable update for the user.
        Any channel should work.

          I do not use dvbapi since it's an debian server and not an receiver.

              If it helps , here you have the syntax

              Syntax
              S: [device] [PMT file name]
              P: [CAID]:[provider ID]:[service ID]:[ECM PID]:[CHID] continue
              I: [CAID]:[provider ID]:[service ID]:[ECM PID]:[CHID] ignore
              J: [CAID]:[provider ID]:[service ID]:[ECM PID] join
              A: ::[service ID]:[PMT PID]:[provider ID]:[ECM PID] dummy
              X: [CAID]:[provider ID]:[service ID]:[ECM PID] demux
              D: [CAID]:[provider ID]:[service ID]:[ECM PID] delay
              L: [CAID]:[provider ID]:[service ID]:[ECM PID] ECM length (hexa)
              M: [CAID]:[provider ID]:[service ID]:[ECM PID] target CAID:[target provider ID]
              S = set DVB API device name and PMT File name (valid for STAPI only!)
              P = set priority, recommended for pay-per-view services/EMMs (use carefull!)
              [continue] = 1 # proceed with priority, recomended for pay-per-view services
              = # [blank] none (default)
              I = set ignore
              J = joined CAID[:]joined provider ID[:]joined ECM PID join to another ECM PID
              A = set a dummy ECM request with CAID FFFF for services with a constant CW shown as unencrypted service
              X = add decoding on an extra demux index on the same CA device (Multi ECM) (not support on all STBs)
              D = set delay in milli seconds writing CWs
              L = set ECM length in hexa

                Hi m8 it works perfect with this config of reader with phoenix interface
                Code:
                 [reader]
                label                         = Reader1
                description                   = sky_uk
                protocol                      = mouse
                device                        = /dev/ttyUSB0
                pincode                       = ***X
                caid                          = 0963
                boxid                         = ******XX
                detect                        = cd
                mhz                           = 1000
                cardmhz                       = 357
                ident                         = 0963:000000
                group                         = 1
                emmcache                      = 1,3,2

                blockemm-g                    = 1
                I have tried in DM800 MHz = 372 Cardmhz = 372 and it worked perfect too.

                  if you run oscam on your receiver you have to use dvbapi but if you run oscam on a PC (non-receiver) you dont have to use dvbapi.

                  The MHz may be different for Sat-receiver or PC.
                  Only the card MHz stays the same for both.

                  I use the Smargo Smartcard Plus reader v1.7 and found out that the card only detects correctly with: MHz 343 and Card MHz 357

                    The strange thing is when it reports error init card I higher the card mhz value to 500 or 600 and pause/restart the reader and then it detects the card.

                    Well I have played around with the settings and found out that these always inits the card when restarting oscam.

                    Code:

                        DVBapi is only required to receive the PMT stream (what you get from an LNB on a SatDish, for example) ... if you use a receiver as client, and tell it to forward EMMs to the server, where the card is connected to / read on , then that server does NOT require DVBapi to write EMMs to the card. In fact, if the server isn't connected to any DVB source (Dish, Cable, Terrestrial), then enabling DVBapi on that server is utterly pointless.

                          Hi m404,

                          Yes exacly!

                          DVBAPI is not required on a Oscam server if Oscam installed on a non-receiver platform.
