      Well VDSL modems are also connected to a DSLAM via copper wire so I guess it's the same technique!?

        Client side config requires ip and port used by oscam's monitor but also requires that oscam admin allows your ip.

        With oscaminfo working, you can compare the ecm time when originating from oscam server and the correspondig ecm time when arriving to your receiver.
        The difference is the delay introduced by the network/hops.
        This is the only way to evaluate and check if and where you can improve the overall performance.

          @gianni253 thanks for that, will give it a go when i have some time.

          on a different note, my ECM times are much improved lately.
          i changed rehares and hop counts down and my ECM's are clearing much much faster.
          i suspect my link was just being overloaded a bit with requests.
