    CCcam 2.3.0 Backdoor

I found this alarming message from another forum:

When you install CCcam 2.3.0 , it will start sending your
ENTIRE CCCAM.CFG info to this IP 176.9.242.159 (a rented root server in germany).
Versions CCcam 2.1.3 and 2.1.4 which are secure and don't have this backdoor code.

    So be carefull friends.

Interesting. What about 2.2.1 version ? It is widely used too. Are there any info for this version ?

      I am not sure,
But I will switch over to my older 2.0.2.1 version.
Slower, but just to be sure.

Info about this IP at "ip-adress - who is" web site :
        _www.ip-adress.com/whois/176.9.242.159
It seems as it is an arabic forum. May be we need some time to find out
if it is true info or just a hoax. Who knows ? The best choice for now of course
        is be more careful.

Not veryfied yet I think it is a fake from some people that are jelous. And don't you think that all other Image teams (exmp. I am using Glj - Image for Dbox 2) would release this in their online updates if it is a fake or it has a Backdoor to send your cccam lines to some server.

Here is what I found on some other forum :

My draytek is not picking up anything, my guess it is more bullshit from some sad individual who is jealous or has nothing better to do than spread BS

          If you don't like 2.3.0 don't use it if you think this is true prove it, { that's a challenge }
I hope that I am not wrong, regarding this opinion.

The same rumour started when 2.2.1 was released, and then quietly got forgotten about.

This will prove to be another hoax which is getting copied from forum to forum with no proof.

Its just a matter of time when this will be clarified. But as for now nobody know if this is true or not, so be careful.

I don't think so, If this is right then its mean your C-line protocols are leaked and in use other than you. Your server provider can judge this and block C-line.

i thinks these are bullshits. dm boxes and other boxes use cccam 2.3.0. they come from diferente parts of the worls and they all take some profits from box selling. if they release software with new upgrades and make them have viruses ore anything to hack, think a litle my friends, these companies would destroy themselffs, nobody would buy anymore from them, we are living in an interactive world nothing today is 100% sure but to my opinion this is a fake info

Yes, you are right if there are attemps for connections from different IP's with
your own cline server firewall will block you. But this is a new issue ( or hoax ) so lets wait and see or wait for comment from Mr.Satlover.

Don't forget that dm company don't offer any software that is used for share on their original images. This softwares (plugins) are made by others so dm is not responsible for damage made from this softwares (plugins). All who are using them are using them on their own responsibility.
