ok can you show me how to change username and password . ithink this is not risky because if you can see my cccam.cfg you see only the name of server and not the full adress of c-line. and you dont know my dreambox ip too, so how is it possible

1) Into cccam.cfg put lines:

ALLOW WEBINFO: yes
ALLOW TELNETINFO: yes
TELNETINFO LISTEN PORT : 16000
WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 16001
SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
WEBINFO USERNAME : ******xx
WEBINFO PASSWORD : ******x
TELNETINFO USERNAME : ******xx
TELNETINFO PASSWORD : *********

where ***xx you can put what you like

2) open router's port 16001 for your DreamboxIP

3) go to: http://DreamboxIP:16001

then you will see what I mean.

yes its password protected now, but i dont want to add such thinks on my cccam.cfg. Are you sure that if i put a password to dreambox and change my lan ip, this is always vulnerable to attaccs and they can steal my c-line?

All these things help you and give you informations about cccam.
If you don't want to take infos then don't use them.
cccam work very well without them.

About the attacks,... I'm not sure for anything.
I don't know much about hacking, but I know some things that help me protect myself
Why do you want to change your lan IP?

i changed the password for dreambox which i use when connecting to it with DCC+. how do i change the password for the webinfo and telnetinfo please? or they are the same as the dreambox?

and another thing port 16001 has to be port forwarded to the dreambox in the routers settings or not ?

You need to edit the cccam.cfg file on your dreambox, you will normaly find it in VAR/ETC! Open it with an editor of your choice, edit the posted lines an overwrite the old with the new one! And yes, you need to port forward 16001 to the IP of your Box!

so the passwords for the telnet and webnet i input them only in the cccam.cfg file right ?

Yes, you will find these specific lines in the cccam.cfg file, use the find - function! After you have edited everything, restart your CCCAM an test it out as kalpikos has mentioned! From now on nobody can get access without correct user and password!

yes but if this nobody doesnt know your dreambox ip he couldnt either enter in your cccam.cfg so i let it withowt a password

Somebody who knows your Pc IP knows and your dreambox IP beacuse your are in lan -(router).
There is a diference between lanIP and webIp.

When you send an e-mail your IP is known ==>
dreamIP is known (you have the same ip with your pc when you are on web-net)==>
the port is very easy to found
So, no pass = party

its better to password protect the system then .. but if port 16001 is not port forwarded in the routers settings will there be still this risk ?
