    Should i close port 80 on Dream too, in order to increase security? What's role of this port in DreamBox?

        Telnet to the dreambox and login as user root. The default password is probably dreambox. Once logged in, type the command

        passwd

        and hit <enter>.

        This will prompt you to enter a new password, and then prompt you again to confirm it.

          Port 80 is the default port for http (web) traffic. If your box is behind a router/firewall I don't think you gain anything by closing the port.

          If your box is accessible remotely (from the internet) then you should enable access on a different port, and use port forwarding from the router to port 80 on the dreambox.

              Do you have access to the F line? I know how to do it on the F line, but not on the C line without a lot of typing.

                Would adding this to the end of the c-line do it?

                no { 1702:0:3, 0:0 }

                So allow 1702 up to 3 hops away, and block everything else.

                  I'm pretty sure this actually blocks 1702.

                      Re: CCcam.cfg

                      It works for me as I think the first entry takes priority - see first screenshot.

                      Probably better though is:

                      no { 1702:0:3, 1702:1:3, 1702:2:3, 1702:3:3, 0:0 }

                      Not sure how many provider Ids are in use, but it looks better in screenshot 2

                              You need something like
                              f: user pass { 1702:0:1, 1722:0:1, 1830:0:1, 1834:0:1, 1833:0:1, 0:0:0 }

                              This should do it.

                                I would like to have more than one CCcam.cfg on gemini 5.1, eg like it's in DE image. Is there a way to switch between them?

                                Thanks in advance.
