however here (belgium: flemish + french and netherlands) some effective CS countermeasurements have been taken this year (1 card could open max 3 or 4 channels at the same time).

More or less, every provider is actuating some countermeasures, but I have the impression they are playing like cat with mouse.
I guess they could stop sharing in a second if they want but they tolerate as long as it doesn't get too big ... it's better some more (shared) subscriptions than nothing.

Companies come up with ideas like this from time to time. An example of this is when Windows 8 was in its developing process, microsoft says that the new system wont be easy to break as it would be chipset based, means that every computer will have its unique operating system. Now the rumers about sky and its chip, It might get introduced but it will take time. As toby and pan said, "Wait and See".

Well whatever happens there's not much we can do about it. Just hope the hackers can keep up otherwise we'll have to go to other sats for our viewing. Until there is another solution that is..............

Cardsharing might be history one day but that dosnt mean that sharing will be history. We will just get a new methode where we replace "card" with ***sharing....

And the countermeasurement to their countermeasurements is already implemented in newer camds with cw in ram.
OK, if you can only solve 4 ecms in 7 seconds you will need more cards in the server, but as I see in the last month the scene is growing up.
But as long as cs doesn't really harm the providers, they are a bit angry but won't spend to much money in countermeasures.
