Spiderbox HD7000 wirh CCCAM

Hi All

Can somebody give me a little advise please as I am new to sat & CS

I have tried quite a few test lines over recent weeks and all SLY UK is always unstable and freezes quite a lot, from what I have read its mainly down to the servers at the other end as I have tried quite a few different changes from suggestions from info on all sorts of places(mainly forums) to no avail, still freezing every now and then

I am not knocking the Spider as its absolutley brilliant with the gift and its a low cost unit and I am glad I have it

What I am looking for from anyone out there are suggestions as alternatives to the Spider that work well with CCCAM and are value for money (cheap as poss)

Like you said the spiderbox is a great value for money box and cccam works fine on it with no freezes on the right servers so by buying another box and using the same servers you will still get lots of freezes do you want a another box with a gift on it

I have a Spiderbox 7000HD I am the same as you mate cant fault them. I cant see why you need another box your glitching and freezing are down to a bad server. The box is in no way to blame changing boxes will not improve your situation changing your line will. This is why people only buy a month at a time because everybody will tell you glitch free just to get your money.

i also have used spiderbox7000, for nearly 2 years and dont intend to change, (for a while yet) as good members here agree, for me a box is just to get pictures on screen for viewing, cant fault it, i bought for HD mainly, box can support clines/nlines, thats great by me.

Hi dcswin, as has already been mentioned here there is nothing wrong with the Spiderbox. I am using a 9000HD and l just use the free lines from the forum. Depending on which sat I happen to be watching it ranges from very good to unwatchable due to the fact that the lines are posted all over the internet. If you suffer from bad lines from servers you have paid for then you need to try others but, I do not think you will ever find any that are completely glitch free, take them on short term basis only.

There are Glitch free lines you just need to know where to get them also your box does make a difference most closed source receivers ie: Spiderbox, Technomate, Blade, Openbox etc... use an emulated version of CCcam 2.0.11 and this works well on some like the Blade and Technomate and has adverse affects on others which i wont mention.

You may be better trying an N: Line for the Spiderbox this should give you a better service

N lines do work very well with the Spiderbox and i would say slighty less freezes

Hi All

Thanks everybody for your feedback

As hopefully you understand by my first post I am happy with the Spider if I can get the CCCAM as glitch free as poss (I undertand that there will always be a little freezing)

I have unfortunatley paid in for 12 months to a server

Next question for anybody
As mentioned by digicon and thecrazybandit whi advise N Lines maybe a better option
Can my payserver send me N lines instead of the C lines I am currently using ?
or
Do I have to re-order Nlines of someone else ?

Has anyone got an N line I could try ?
(Sorry thats 3 questions)

contact the server and tell them its glitching there is free N lines you can try from this site

As an alternative, take a look at the mvision (I have a 270 and am very pleased with it) - they have build-in cccam (closed - but works good) - there's also a free service/gift, but don't count on it to last (very few support on the gift).

my server sent me clines, then changed to nlines, both worked perfect in my spider, but his decision , your server might be pushing it with more and more clients, as the crazybandit says ask for nline.
stick with spider till protocols perhaps change in future.

You should have tried a few servers out before commiting to a 12 month sub.
Try a few servers on cccam forums and ask for a few test lines. There are quite a few sly uk servers that use nlines out there.
Mine does and is pretty much faultless.

I agree with bokkie, go for a month or a max of 3 months so you can see how it goes without commiting yourself to much.
Also, as mentioned, go for a Nline, they do work better with a Spiderbox, but some servers are better that others. I am with one that is very good (No glitches or freezes).

Would broadband speed effect using line's, I tried a while ago but had limited success, but I notice my b/b with o2 is throttled when i try to use iplayer or ******* etc.

Not really 0.5mb would do or even a pay as you go dongle would also work great the main factor is of course what your Ping is like anything over 100ms and you will start having problems
