It isn't the quantity of cards that's important, but the quality (better less local cards than a lot of 'bad' cards ; of course with servers with loads of users (as here) you need a certain quantity of cards.

If I'm not 100% right, please correct me.

ohh so 3 is something different, not the number of the cards. well i am using a digital receiver that has a software already so i am not sure if i can check the connections but it is good to know. thanks for that.

and one card is only for one system like one card for cyfra and one card for saellitebg? not one card for conax and one card nagravision?

Yes vanbasten, There are much more cards than only 3, when you get access to srver 2 you will have access to the thread where members post the status of the server 2 and they state that 675, 673 (some really high number) cards are active. But also think of the dozens of satellites and the 100's of networks on these satellites!!

correct (as microchick stated). When you enter the line, you should see somewhere if you're connected or not, and normally there it also shows the number of connected cards - has nothing to see with software already in it or not.

These setting are always different for different boxes. Dream or VU might show you full details but i am unable to see all these details on openbox. It even doesn't tell me the number of cards.

I think my software is open box? or are you referring to something completely different?

The screenshots you have provided don't look like openbox screenshots. I remember you saying in another thread that you have a box called Yamatu? or some other box with Yamatu software on it. I might be wrong

                      Re: About encryption systems

I am using something called mersat but it is the same configuration with yumatu hd 3610. when i bought it i had no knowledge of servers and all that, basically the guy whom i bought it from told me i could watch the satellitebg and most of the documentary channels with the servers already installed. well servers lasted a week and later i did not want to pay for them that is how i started looking for servers on web. I am lucky to have come across satlover server, others were really really slow compared to this one

but thanks again for paying attention to my previous posts.

does anyone know if this service of providing free servers will continue indefinitely or sometime in the future we can expect to be asked for payment?

I just really like the free ones, so was wondering if anyone had any info on that

Pretty sure you won't get an answer on this one ...

I always say: no risk, no fun - and: keep positive!

And ... think we're going bit out of topic about the encryptions here

Mr Satlover has created a "Thanks" Button for saying thank you and its in the Forum's Rules too.

If you had problem with the server then you should have returned the receiver to the guy you bought it from. Didn't you get any warranty with it?

As Pan1100 mentioned that no one is going to answer your 2nd question about the continueity of the server. Mr Satlover knows best and better not to be discussed on here.

sorry just i am not used to this forum stuff so keep forgetting, and think it is more personal to write it out loud.

Well to be honest, i like figuring out things on my own so this satellite issue started as a hobby but it can be addictive, at least for now i am settled with satlover servers but before i would spend a lot of time on ****** fishing for free servers and trying to figure out which channels they decrypt, and looking for a bulcrypt package was making things much more difficult.

So are most of the senior members on here from it field since they know most of the stuff about encryption or just gathered this information by time, reading and doing research online?

to see number of cards you have to install cccaminfo on your box
(you probably can't do that) i don't know
or install cccaminfo.php on your pc (but i don't know about it can read your box)
