    Re: Where to put what

Thanks to the good people on the forums... mainly in this thread, I now have everything running as it should be.

Sort of moving forward about the question of Dual Tuners.. Can you watch more than one channel from one cline on a single tuner? or is that still against the server rules. My main reason for asking is that i'm thinking of getting a premium line from here. It does say you get 2 lines. That would answer the 2 tuners question. I can see things going tits up as I have the Mrs and a teenage daughter. So If I watch channel A then the Mrs records channel B then the daughter wakes to at mid day and starts watching channel C.... then I get an email from Mr satlover saying "YOUR FIRED" lol

Would that scenario require 3 clines?

      Re: Where to put what

      hi

You can only use 1 cline from 1 specific server at the same time! Really depends on what servers you have access to. I'm not familiar with premium lines, but I'm pretty sure the 2 lines you get there are from the same server -> Please someone correct me if I'm wrong here!

In your case (and at this moment): even with a premium line, you'll only be able to have 2 clines active at the same time (1 free + 1 premium -> supposed the premium uses another server than the free of course).

        Re: Where to put what

premium lines are normally from 2 different ports. Always only use 1 satlover c-line at the same time. The second line is more backup line.

          hi

I thought I followed more or less, but now you write 'to always use only satlover cline at the same time'. Is this general, or only with premium?
Reason I ask is because earlier posts stated clearly that more clines from satlover can be used at the same time, on the condition they have different servers/ports.

Just really want to be 100% sure I won't violate any rules (with known results).

            let me explain last time

server 3 port number**** use one line only
server 4 port number**** use one line only

no need to say thanks every post, there is a button for that, (which is in rules)
Do not send me iptv/cline requests,

technical or iptv/cline server questions in PM!

            I will not answer!

              hi again toby69

I understand very clearly (from the first time) what you mean.

But: as I answered in post 32 to jds828 that he can put different lines from different servers, I just wanted to be sure I didn't gave wrong information, because this is in contradiction of what runmo wrote right after my post:

Just wanted certainty, as this is very important information here.

                  hello

You say the channels are scrambled, but did yoy get connection anyhow to the cards?
Did you check whether the line is good (tip: you can use Gogoli1's program to do this, see: _hxxp://***.satlover.com/forum/dreambox-tools/39330-new-c-n-lines-tester-new.html)? Try with some different lines (only 1 at a time!).

                    Re: Where to put what

I got this tool (Gogoli1's program)
When I added the line I'm using I tested it here _http://www.cardsharing.info with a bunch of them and they were working

I have changed the cline again and I have tested it with the tool and still I only have scrambled channels

Which package I'm suppose to get?

Is it Ok that I have to connect to my cline only with the satlover IP address instead of the name?

                    What do you mean by

did yoy get connection anyhow to the cards?

Some boxes can support only 13 charachters. Some boxes dont support a 3 digit port number. I think they should make them in a way that all boxes support similar number of charachters for username and passwerds and similar number of digits for ports. Just a thought for the manufacturers!!

perhaps this might help a little.

press the red button while on super settings page and enter 7878 to get menu up
from here the red button (for caps) also toggles some of the symbols hyphon and underscore are on caps list.

My box patch support all characters. I can enter underscore for user name without a problem

I can also enter server name address but when I click on test it fails

Then I change the server name for the server IP address and I click on Test and it works

                            A bit dodgy
