Re: Where to put what
Now I'm starting to doubt...
Not in the near future, but when I decide to buy an extra box, will it be allowed to use both of them with 2 different clines from here?? They would be on the same router.
Can someone confirm if this would be ok or not (I think it's not, but not sure)??
Thanks in advance and best regards

Re: Where to put what
Right, just searched again and found the following:
How many c lines I can use at same time?
You can use ONE c line at time for each server or firewall will ban your ip address and you'll NEVER connect then!
Does this mean one c-line from eg server 3 and one c-line from eg are allowed at the same time, or are the satlovers servers ALL together considered as ONE server?? Still a little bit
Any clarification welcome!Comment

Re: Where to put what
if you got enough useful posts for server3 an server4 you can enter both them lines in a single box, but if you had second box conected to same router as first box you could have server3 in one box, server4 in second box, as its states, different servers. rules are only one line per box from 1 server.Do not send me iptv/cline requests,
technical or iptv/cline server questions in PM!

Much clearer now, thanks. I think it's a bit dangerous to put 2 clines from different servers in 1 box: what if accidently you enter 2 clines from the same server? Anyway, I don't really see the avantage of using more than 1cline in 1 box.
You mention useful posts: do you mean there is a difference between posts and useful posts? If so, how can we see this?Comment

Re: Where to put what
useless posts will be deleted, as mr satlover checks these also!!
its up to you what you enter in your box, personally i have only 2 lines,(different servers) good ones at that, no more needed.Do not send me iptv/cline requests,

Re: Where to put what
OK, thanks for the confirmation. I'm a bit afraid tu use 2 lines and to mix accidently servers up (banning ). Anyway I have only 1 box (with 1 sat-tuner) where I can enter clines, so I don't see any advantages of putting 2 clines at the same time -> presumed that the clines of different servers are doing the 'same' thing.
@toby69: May I ask you if you have 2 tuners? And if not: what's the advantage of using 2 clines??Comment

Re: Where to put what
the advantage of useing a cline from eache server is what might be good on one server not always good on other server time of day and what you watching and all that it easy to use both cline just make a not of which server the clines are forComment

Re: Where to put what
ok guys, again appreciate the info ; will try this ; think the safest way is as Blade Runner describes it and only put 1 cline active and deactivate the other one. I think I won't take the risk to try with 2.Comment

Re: Where to put what
hi toby69
Yes, I've read post 20 clearly, but didn't know different servers mean also different ports. I answered to pjmuk that - for me - it's easier/safer when ports are different, so less chance of mixing servers up.
Anyway, I very much appreciate your help here!Comment
