What is the maximum number if clines a dm800 can handle and how does it choose which one to use !

Low number of lines are best so shose only best lines with good ping fast response and with cards for u.

For DM800HD-se & DM500HD ( both have same MIPS processor & RAM ) can easily support upto 20 client c-lines.
Also the latest version of cccam will automatically select ECM fro lowest ping server.

You can put how much C line you like but I suggest no more then 20, coz will ovreload dm cpu and enigma will we very slow. So for normal viewing you need no more than 7-8 c lines (depends what cards they have it) and priority you can have if you put prio file in etc folder where is the cccam.cfg file. But be sure to delete the low ping (>100ms) c lines and c lines with Hop4,5 coz will make a lot of freezing.

It depends of quality of lines, nd number of cards, 5-6 lines will work fine

I have a Dbox 2 and I run 3 clines at the same time, got no problems, except somwhere about 20:00 to 21:00 the freezes are then more then usual. I think the servers of all tree lines are overloaded because it is the prime time of watching the television.

i use cccam switch then u can easily change between the lines u prefer
without using ftp
then i only have 1 cline Pr cfg
alas
cccam.cfg
cccam1.cfg
cccam2.cfg
and so on

Mates,
I have asked this question before and given up.
I have a DM500+ with a nemesis image.
If I put in more than 3 clines I get all clines active with 0 cards!
But they all work well individually.
I have tried with prio file etc.
I thought there could be a way around it but up till now same old problem.

i dunno why u get 0 cards online when using 3 different clines
but they works individually
why not use cccam switch
see my post above yours
another thing i wonder are your 3 clines from same server
or 3 different servers

i have dreambox 800 with 25 clients and its good i find if i go over 30 its no good but it depends on you internet conection speed

This morning I went through some experiments.
I have a DM500+ and cccam.cfg installs under \etc.
I installed the latest CCcam.prio, CCcam.providers, CCcam.channelinfo all under \etc.
What a dramatic change in zapping speed!!!
I now realise that apart from cccam.cfg, almost every other file is installed here.
Yes, I use cccam switch with 1 cline per cccam.cfg....but would like them to work together.
I am still experimenting.
You let you know if I succeed.

vimmers could you explain me a little bit this with the cccam switch method. Now I have one cccam.cfg where I have put all my tree clines.

I don't know how I can use cccam switch, does it work automatically like the clines that you put in the cccam.cfg file, or something else

yes offcourse
cccam switch are built in in the plugin cccam info v1.3
and u just create some cfg files in etc or var/etc depending which receiver u have

Too much depends how many clients are connected at the same time. If you are just casual viewers, there may be far more ...
