    hi Mobley3

I wasn't very pleased with kodi on my pc, but of course you can try.

But why don't you go for a little android box (eg mxq pro 4k, costed me about 45 EUR). Surely worth the money!

Thank you for reply pan1300, I probably will end up buying a separate box,
my main problem is the number of boxes already under the TV, currently 4
      plus Router Lol.

I use Kodi jarvis 16.0 on a laptop and tower with windows 7 and windows 10 and it works very well with no problems with virus

hi, just fyi I used the 14 on a vista pc (64 bit business), good graphic card, but a few years old - that could be the reason of bad quality/stream.

Using kodi on a laptop is good that you get to test addons but if you want to watch on your tv you will have to connect your laptop to tv. Easy solution is to get dedicated android box, I have now gone for about six months without using my satellite system but must add that it does take a bit of hard work and quick learning to get things right.

Amazon Firestick with Latest Kodi and the Addons installed works OK, But i have yet to see a stream that matches the HD quality you get from a proper satellite channel

Update.....I have taken pan1300 advise and purchased a MXQ Pro 4K.
will probably take a week to arrive, so no doubt I will be back on looking
                  for help

                    hi Mobley

I've been playing/struggling/enjoying with this android box for a while now, if you need to know something, just ask. Little tip: a little wifi keyboard comes in very handy (to type-search) - costed me about 10 eur.

Such keyboard is around 12 euro, but sometimes they make packs with keyboard included. Was the case for my mqIII 4k

Use YATSE remote for either your Android or iPhone this connects to any Kodi installation through your phone and has a keyboard for those awkward moments and best of all its FREE!

Thank you guys, I also bought a Wireless Air Mouse, annoyingly it could not be shipped to Ireland as part of a Package, although the Box was the same, and also from the same supplier. I ordered the mouse from China, already on the way

@digicon will check out the Yatse remote too.

                          regards mobley3

                                Hi Friends
                                .
I am new to this forum and I see other friends are so helpful. So I need help in setting up my MXQ Android tv box for watching all pakistani and indian channels including live tv shows. And also need help with canadians channels, live and on demand, with usa channels too.

I know I am asking too much but whatever came to my mind I just asked. I hope I would get some easy to follow instructions. Thanks
