    Vu+ Zero Boot Loop

    Hello guys,

I've got a Vu+ Zero since over a year but recently it started behaving strange.
It get's stuck in a boot loop. I've tried to flash different images but it just doesn't work and gets stuck again.
I've tried flashing the factory image and that works but the other images just won't work... have you got any idea what the problem might be?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi sossenheim-ffm

Is your box a genuine or a clone?

If it's a clone, flash it with the recomented image for your box (usally an older BH image)

If it's a genuine, try to flash it with the latest openpli image from here:

Take attention on the procedure with usb stick to complete it correctly.

Also, iIf you have available other usb stick, use it.

      Hi kalpikos,

      it's a geniue box,

i've tried everything. I managed to get it working again but few days (approx. 10 times turning off and on again, sometimes sooner somtimes later) it gets into a bootloop again.
Did this ever happen to anyone of you guys?
It just happens after multiple times of turning on and off (after few days of use) .

Should I get it replaced trough the warranty or is it a software problem?

        Re: Vu+ Zero Boot Loop

        Hi

Your problem is very strange and very rare.

I had in the past a similiar problem with my solo2, when it was stuck on a bootloop, but there were a reason for this...

        ...an incorrect skin.

I used DCC to remove it and all ok.

So, maybe a skin or even a plugin can cause this situation.

Reflash it, load your channel's list and leave it for a few days to work without anything.
Do not change the skin, do not add any plugin.

If the problem persists, then I'm afraid that your box is faulty and you should ask from the store that you bought it to replace it into warranty.

          Hi;

If your box is Genuine Product; it takes you two steps :

flash your box with original image:
          ---vuplus-image-vuzero-20160304170708_usb.zip

then flash it with BH image :
          .

well, this seems to be a linux boot stage problem

so, go an read the linux boot trace file
            or send us a copy

            /var/log/message

            cat /var/log/message

you can access via remote samba connection from your pc onto your vu zero
