The plugin is designed to ensure that children can not simply turn on the box and unattended sitting in front of the TV and watch TV.

function:
The plugin calls a lock screen PIN entry when the box is drawn from the deep standby.
There, the PIN code must be entered by the "youth protection / protect settings", otherwise it goes no further.

settings:
The "parental control" and "Settings protect" must be activated.
In the settings from the plugin itself the protector must be enabled. (The function is probably taken out again)

installation:
Simply unzip the attachment and copy to / usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions, make settings and start new GUI.

so basically it works like a lock screen on a phone, it needs a code to open the box.
Just for info, once you are in, if you pick a channel with paternal lock on, will it ask for a pin code?!
