If the dm 800 is a Clone I would go for the vu. My opinion.

Vu+ HD models are cheaper than orignal dreambox models. They are also better than dreambox clone models. I had clone myself and now vu+ duo HD. Quality and support is just great. So I would advice a vu+ model. Another new model next to ultimo is planned soon.

I've not used a Clone but I running a VU+ Duo.
Never had any issues with it, support is good, nice images around.

Is much quicker and more reliable than my old DM500 (but then these did have motor issues)

Be intresting to see if (and when) the price comes down when the new version is released.

Fully agree with you about the Vu+ HD models .

If you want to go for a clone Dream then go for DM800se.
It is far superior and faster than DM800.

hi m8 i have had a dm800 and vu duo and now vu ultimo ? the vu boxes are far better than any clone m8 and run moore stable and less heat for cs sharing m8

I Prefer the vu uno over a clone dreambox 800 se and eaven a 800se original box.
price/performance is awesome, you can even run Dreambox 8000 images on the vu uno.
