Vu+ Solo 2 and HbbTV

Hello

Last night I tried to install HbbTV plugin on my vu++solo2 with openpli 4 image, but the whole project resulted to disaster

The installation completed successfully but after a reboot my box stuck in welcome screen.
Reboot again and again, but nothing happened.

I managed to remove the folder of HbbTV plugin through DCC , reboot it and then my box recovered and all it's ok now.

Why this happened to my box?

I'm sure that vu+solo2 supports HbbTV and the plugin that I had installed it was directly from openpli feed server.

Is there anybody to have any experience with HbbTV?

Yes i have had hbbtv working on a Solo2 but not with OpenPLI image only with original Blackhole image, and i currently run a Gigablue Quad+ with OpenATV 4.2 and that also plays hbbtv fine

I've tried a couple of times to install this plugin on my solo2 with vix image. It loads ok, but to be honest, I'm not sure what it actualy does'

In some countries Spain for example it is used for catchup tv, but not for the UK catchup.

From what I have read, HbbTV gives you the ability to view advanced services from TV providers on your screen.

I saw some channels from Germany that support HbbTV like zdf, ndr, sat1, wde etc and I would very curious to see what exactly HbbTV is and what is the "advanced services".

But it seems that all images support HbbTV apart from OpenPli

Yes HbbTV work in BH.lmage and you can select different information like whether or some video program but plugin is enable and work only if channel have support online for HBBTv.

HBBTV also works with VTI Image, and there it works fine. You need internet for hbbtv, so you can get all the online stuff of the channels.

I also have Solo2, but, it is working perfect Hbbtv on Openpli 4

How you did that?
Did you use the Hbbtv version from openpli feed server or a different version?

Finally, could you please tell me the openpli4 version you are using?

I can't understand

I installed it also from openpli feed server but after the installation happened a freezing in the welcome screen as I described above in my first post.

Maybe you are using one of the newest version of openpli in which they did some fixes for HbbTV.

My openpli version is rather old and maybe I should try with a fresh new version.

Yes, I have latest OpenPli in my Box, It is from 26-12
