Problem with Rytec EPG import

The last day I have problem with Rytec EPG import on my Vu+Solo2.

I noticed that there is a problem and I couldn't see the epg for almost all packets.
I have set it to start the automatic import daily every morning and today I saw that the box made a restart by it self.

So, I started the plugin manually in order to find were is the problem.

I found that when the plugin started to load events from "Rytec Germany/Austria/Swiss XMLTV" the box suddenly stopped and made enigma restart.
After that all EPG data were lost.
I try to deactivate the Rytec Germany/Austria/Swiss XMLTV and all working ok.
The epg is working ok without it.

Why this happened?
What can I do to fix it?

hello,

maybe a odd format mismatch (x??x) in the epg data file,
which cause a buffer overflow somewhere,
and reboot the system

i propose to test your system
with an previous issue of epg
- or an other issue, like france ... -

before starting headache ...

Problem solved !!!

I give the info for people who maybe have a similiar problem to me.

The cause of the problem was the old channel list that I was using.

I'm sure that there is a change in channels that are responsible for epg of 19E and this happened few days ago, when the problem started to me.

Obviously some channels were lost and the epg failed to find them so it caused the crash.

I downloaded a new setting list with all new channels and the problem has been solved.

Also, a rescan of the channels could solve the problem.
