Info on Vu+Solo2

Hello guys,

Plant: Gibertini XP100, LNB 4 outputs, Rotor HH120, RxSat Vu + Solo2 BH2.06

someone might respond to these concerns, the receiver VU + Solo 2.
Is it possible mount the Rx Dreambox (DM800) image or other image that better manage
the channel scan and the settings of the rotor?

Hello mate

If I understood right, you want to install an image for a dm800 to a vu+solo2 ?
if yes... I think this is not possible.

Why you want to do that?
Black hole image is a very good image for your receiver and the version 2.06 is very stable and fast.

Moreover, if you have problem with the channel scan, you can use a ready made list as Vhannibal list (Vhannibal Motor 75°E-45°W).
This list contains all satellites you want to use and the only thing you have to do is to adjust them to your motor.

Yes, VTI images are very stable and fast for vu+ boxes.

But, I think that the choice of the image depends on what you like it more.

There people that wants images with many plugins, many extra, and other that wants only the necessaries.

In my opinion, every user must test almost all images and then to decide which of the them is best for him.

Good news BH.2.13 in flash with meoboot now can instal 8 image and now work the image based on open Pli after newest driver so if you want instal an ssd hard disk internal disk instal there meoboot and can try 8 image wich work very fast on ssd.
With plugin New menu can backup and restore cccam cfg to hard and when swich the image can restore cfg in new image

Sounds great, but which images have you installed? I am very interested in multiboot but recently none have worked on all the main images.

For me work in meoboot al _VTI lmage (last VTI.7.1),open spa.openld .,satdreamgr,
openATV, openVIX, openfr, openhdf and of course BH.2.13 were you can instal much more addons and plugin because in hard have more space.

Yes no memory issues on multiboot, did you try Openpli 4?

I think that there is a problem when black hole image is on multiboot with openpli4.
On the other side, black hole together with other images works perfect.

Are you talking about the latest BlackHole wiith Openpli 4 on the multiboot?
If so I dont know because I haven't tested it yet but it is supposed to work on all main images, I will try to test during the coming week but they don't seem to work together.

I don't know why, but there is problem with openpli4 images.

Hi kalpikos, I can confirm that none of the older BlackHole images can multiboot with Openpli 4. Although they did work with Openpli 3.
But I will test the latest one as soon as I can, as I said they claim that it will multiboot with the main images and Openpli 4 is certainly a main image.

On last image BH 2.14 on meoboot just open pli 4 not work i think need diferent driver because tuner not work i have an motorized lnb and in second tuner just one simple sat,13 E but the image open pli 4 i cannot set the tuner, all other image based on open pli (open spa,open dld satdream greece etc )work just in last BH 2.14 and one iportant change is the posibility to make 2Giga swap.

good news i can confirm open pli beta 26.11.2014 work verry good on Vu solo 2 duo with BH 2.14 in flash.Meoboot is instaled in one 256 Giga SSD and response is very fast i have 8 diferent image in meoboot and one of them is BH2.14 and i instaled open pli from this image from meoboot.

@kalpikos, I can confirm that thevery latest versión ofOpenpl 4 Works fine, also I put a full flash backup of Openpli 4 on meoboot and that Works fine.
For the backup just download the vuplus folder from the box and zip it, with the new image you mayfind that you need to shorten the name.
