hi all just got my vuduo today i waswondering what is the best image to put on it. as it comes with black hole 2.5.0. and what plugins are the best.

Hello mate

I like very much openpli images, but black hole are also very good.
Some images have better epg or more skins but generally there are not many differences that you can see.
The best image is your personal choice.
Try all , and then you will find the best for you.

Reminder, mention why you propose to try out certain image and plugins.
To the persons that ask such advice, always try out different images/plugins for yourself, that's the best way to be sure it's usefull for you.

Install BlackHole in flash and the others on meoboot its a good way to test without constantly reflashing.

I need to change my AZBOX witha newer one, but I don't want to work around to many time only for use the decoder.
Does VU Duo have also automatich upgrade system or must I manually download every FW and install outside the internel system?

Hi mate

Depending on the image you have, you will be able to upgrade your box through the feed server of the image team, but I personally never use it.

I always prefer to upgrade my box manually with clear installation to avoid any problem.

I suggest you to do the same

What I tend to do these days is backup settings,cams, configs and important plugins, install the new image and restore.
Definately the best way.

I agree with you my friend

This way is the best.

You can easily save in a usb stick the necessary cfg files and all of the important settings that you need and then make a clear installation of the image you like.

After that, you can restore your settings in a minute
