vu duo bh 1.79 lite

looking at updating my image on my duo.
currently using a bh 1.74, but want to go to bh 1.79 lite, i have got the kernel 3.1. will i be able to upgrade while still using this kernel??
have done a personal back up.
and last, has anybody used this image, is it any good???

Black Hole 1.7.9 Lite without HbbTv reduces the size of the flash.
Support tuner A Loop through to B
If you want to use this new flash,and running on bh 1.74, have done a personal back up, you are ok to go to 1.79, dont need to upgrade anything else kernels etc.

I use the full 1.79 and it is very good but depends on what you want from the image.
