how change username and password telnet

Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to change the username and password with vu controle center or dcc
standard username : root
standard passwd : dreambox

I think I managed to change the standard passwd to new personal one in telnet with command change passwd
But how to change username I don't find/know how. I eaven don't know if it's recommended to change username to

Hello,
try the following issues:
- connect using telnet with root and your password
- after login, at the prompt, enter the command passwd and hit enter
- this will reset the root password, and the console will request for the new password.
- type in the new password
- the system will request again the password
- type in again the new password to confirm it

Now the user root has the new password changed.
